Women’s Empowerment Event

Students were tasked with creating advertising posters and coordinating event tickets for a women’s empowerment event held at the John Fretwell Centre. The event featured a wide range of activities, including martial arts, yoga, roller derby, aerial performance, wellness advice, and professional talks, alongside stalls and interactive sessions.

The brief challenged students to produce designs that were both eye-catching and informative, capturing the spirit of empowerment while clearly communicating event details. The outcomes demonstrate how design can be used to promote community events and social causes effectively.

This was the design that was chosen.
